This week, we're taking a break to be with our families for the holidays. (Or, potentially stranded in the snow in South Bend, Indiana, for the holidays.) Either way, it's the it's the most wonderful time to revisit our Christmas records deep dish!--Originally released December 25, 2021
It’s been a real gear year for the Untitled Beatles Podcast and it’s all due to you! ‘Spect some of you are getting out a 50¢ piece to weigh down your rare out of print Beatles Christmas Flexi Discs. For those going without these cherished “only fans” records, T.J. and Tony will cover each holiday curiosity released from 1963-1969, with noses red from holiday cheer.
In this very special holiday episode:
🍆 Ho Ho Ho! Will they succeed in referencing “Ding Dong” on XXXmas day?
🍗 Yeah Yeah Yeah! Since T.J. and Tony have gone right off jelly babies, will they switch to Kenny Rogers Roasters roasted chicken?
🌿 Hi Hi Hi! Was the first legal dispensary in the United States run by Mrs. Garrett from The Facts of Life?
Plus shout outs to Beedle Peedles in the Untitled Beatle Community.
Garry Crimble to you (and Garry Mimble for those who don’t celebrate Crimble) and a Happy Goo Year!

Beatle Black Friday Record Store Day
Dec 17, 2022
Dec 17, 2022
1hr 21 min
If you're a real patriotic American, you spent the early hours after Thanksgiving waiting in a frigid-ass line at Best Buy at 4am to get a $199 microwave for $192.97. In fairness, it's one o'them microwaves with a built in VCR, so HELL YES.
Or, maybe, like us libz at the UBP, you made your way to your local record store at a more humane hour to pick up some Beatles-related Black Friday Record Store Day vinyl?
On this episode, Tony & T.J. review their RSD experience, the limited Ringo and Dark Horse releases, and also consider:
👣 Did it take changing his name from Elvis Costello to Declan McManus to get back on his feet?
🤑 Will Tony eventually complete his extensive and very expensive solo Devo vinyl collection?
🎷 Has the Live At The Greek All Starr Band's take on "Rosanna" ended yet? No? Fuuuuuuu********k.
Join us for all this and a very special tribute to Mike Ditka's 1988 heart attack (#OliviaNewtonJohn) on this hot off the presses episode!

At long last (and maybe against the terms of their parole?) the guys take the show across state lines as they hit the highway on their pilgrimage to see "The Beatles: Get Back to Let it Be" at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. Tony made the mistake of letting T.J. map the trip, so there might've been a couple detours to various record stores involved.
Join the Madmen of Mishawaka as they crate-dig their way across the midwest, and take some time to ponder:
🏠 Who's got the more impressive time-share in Ohio: Eric Clapton, Joe Perry, or the Oak Ridge Boys?
🕹 What's the going rate for the 1982 Atari 2600 smash-hit Haunted House these days?
🚨 Should Tony do something about his "check engine" light?
Grab your glammiest Ian Hunter 45—keep your receipts and submit your expenses to Producer Casey—and please enjoy this Very Special Untitled Beatles Field Trip to Cleveland. (Ohioooooooooo)

DELUXE REISSUE: Post-Breakup Compilations
Dec 3, 2022
Dec 3, 2022
1hr 25 min
It’s another Super Deluxe Reissue of one of our classic Zoom-era episodes from 2020, remixed by our very own T.J. Shanoff!
Back when going to the supermarket was a death-defying stunt, Tony and The Shandog explored The Beatles post-breakup compilations, from highly-revered curated collections to cheap, historically inaccurate cash grabs. Wash your vegetables with soap and nestle into this lo-fi blast from the wretched recent past.

This week T.J. and Tony grapple with the permutations of the Fab Thirteen post-breakup compilations - from the "Red & Blue" LPs to the Tomorrow Never Knows iTunes cash grab.
T.J. takes his case for "Please Please Me" appearing on a greatest hits album to the Supreme Court, while Tony throws down the gauntlet on the "so good" Neil Diamond phenomenon. Plus, ramblings on gas station pizza, the true origins of the fajita and that band LinkedIn Park.
Fact cheque: The Outback Steakhouse douchebags were from Florida, not New Jersey. Also, Tony meant "She's A Woman - Take 7", not take 6.
Irregardless (that's a word now), file this episode under Rock.

Were The Beatles at the very first Thanksgiving? We may never know, but we do know they wrote some great Thanksgiving-style songs throughout their career. It’s Fabsgiving on the Untitled Beatles Podcast! Gather round the UBP piano, sing along and wonder:
☕️ Did T.J. use the remaining points on his 2007 Paul McCartney Starbucks® Card to get a discount on the forthcoming 7” Box Set?
🦃 If deep frying a turkey, should one avoid listening to "Norwegian Wood"? What about the BBC track "Set Fire To That Lot" or the unreleased Macca song "Set This Town on Fire"?
👊🏼 Will Tony get into a Black Friday Record Store Day fistfight over a translucent orange copy of Ringo the 4th?
Plus Producer Casey drops by to read us unsavory anti-fan mail. TryptoFAB!
As John Lennon once screamed, “Remember the (4th Thursday) of November!”

George Fest (2014/2016) Part 2
Nov 19, 2022
Nov 19, 2022
47 min
It’s part 2 of George Fest! It rhymes with Pete Best, Bird’s Nest, Math Test, Chest Crest, Crest Chest, and of course—and most importantly—Breast Fest, only at Kenny Rogers Roasters. Yeah, it’s a chicken joke, perv. Sorry! “Merv”.
This week, T.J. and Tony break down the second half of the film and record, and along the way consider:
🌿 Does Perry Farrell need more ginkgo biloba?
🏄 Could Al Bundy front a Beach Boys tribute band? And if so, would they be called the Married… With Siblings, Cousin and Family Friend?
🚫♀︎ Alt: Or maybe called The Misogynist Shoe Salesboys?
💿💿💿💿 How come The Flaming Lips didn’t release “It’s All Too Much” on four separate 10” records meant to play simultaneously?
That’s right, fellow Lips-sters, you finally got yourselves a Zaireeka reference. You’re welcome.

George Fest (2014/2016) Part 1
Nov 12, 2022
Nov 12, 2022
51 min
Many moons ago, back in 2014, an enterprising young chap named Dhani Harrison assembled a mighty crew of musicians in Los Angeles, CA, to pay homage to his late, great father George. And ho boy did the musicians turn out.
We're not quite sure who they are, since none of us owns a physical copy of the 2016 DVD and CD release of "George Fest", but they sure sound good. Join T.J. and Tony as they dish deep on Dhani's All-Star (but no Starr) Band and their broad-ranging performances of some of George's most beloved songs.

We're back! Our super deluxe vinyl box sets arrived in the mail, and Tony and Teej are ready to dish even deeper on the sparkling new Revolver remixes, bonus tracks, and beautiful accompanying 100-page book.
At least Tony is. T.J. might've taken one too many edibles and spent the week listening to Eddie Murphy's 1993 Motown Records sensation Love's Alright.

Oct 22, 2022
1hr 42 min
In anticipation of THE BIG DROP coming this week, T.J. and Tony (a.k.a. The Tab Two #sponsored #by #nutrasweet) dig into some of the teaser tracks already released, and then present the Super Replayable Super Re-Run Edition of our 2020 Deep Dish of Revolver.
Be sure to follow our socials for details about our LIVE REACTION TWITCH & SHOUT coming soon!

Originally released November 14, 2020
It's time to serve up a deep dish of The Beatles most colorful LP with a b/w cover.
In this episode, T.J. and Tony talk ADT, LSD, Geoff Emerick recording techniques, and the Alan Civil War. Plus diversions into the goth Lennon & McCartney, Rupert the Bear, The Frogs, and the Soul Train Scramble Board.
Revolver's track-by-track musings come augmented with enough collector scum needle drops to power a small, fab village, including a sample of their favorite punching bag, 60s Capitol Records honcho Dave Dexter.
Turn off your mind, relax and float tangentially.
