It's another BONUS EDITION to cover some breaking news from the Beatlesverse. Tony and TJ tackle the first album release in a decade from George Harrison's Dark Horse Records—Joe Strummer's posthumous Assembly—and another sneak peek Plastic Ono Band Ultimate Mix of one of John's sweetest tunes, "Look at Me."
But really, the guys are just using these new releases as an excuse to talk about musical theater, John Lennon's love of cats (and Cats), TJ's love of Tucker, Tony's blasphemous lack of love for Prince, and a whole lot more.

The Beatles Live at Budokan (1966)

Missing live music as much as we are? This week we offer you an hour-long escape to 1966 Japan, where the Fab Four played their iconic concerts at Budokan. Maybe not their most polished performances, but definitely memorable, and definitely a portrait of the Beatles in a critical moment of transition, fresh off their Revolver recording sessions.

BONUS: Klaatu's 3:47 EST (1976)

In the heat of the mid-70s desperate anticipation of a Beatles reunion, the mysterious Canadian band Klaatu released an out-of-this-world album that listeners couldn't help but speculate had been secretly recorded by... some other fabulous foursome. Tony and TJ pick apart the enduring enigma surrounding 3:47 EST. And, in the process:
Tony spins one of his favorite Carpenters tracks
TJ finds a way to tie it all back to 80s TV and musical theater
And we all get to finally dispel some of the wild Beatles/Klaatu rumors with cold, hard facts.
It's probably only about once a year that we're able to dedicate an entire bonus episode to such a controversial topic. As always, we aim to bring you enlightenment and some fun, in hopes that the eyes in your head will see the world spinning round.

Ringo's "Zoom In" EP (2021)

It's rare that TJ and Tony get the chance to deep-dish about NEW RELEASES from the Fab Four, but last week, Ringo Starr dropped his new "Zoom In" EP.
Could it be his best work since "Vertical Man"? Will Tony etch another record into his Solo Beatles Mount Rushmore? (Spoiler: NO.)
We also check out the newly released Plastic Ono Band bonus track "It'll Be Me" featuring John, Ringo, Klaus Voorman, and Billy Preston, as well as a couple of early George Martin experimental synth tracks slated for a remix and reissue in May.
As always, things get a little wacky.

Deluxe Reissue: Help! LP (1965)

The guys go all Dave Dexter this week, issuing a remixed, remastered, special deluxe vinyl edition of their August 2020 deep dish into the Help! LP. More music, more goofs, maybe a little extra reverb, but always the same classic Tony and TJ tangents.
[FROM AUGUST 2020] For the 55th anniversary of the Help! album, TJ and Tony go track by track, offering hot takes on Maureen Cleave and a cautionary tale for prospective buyers of the Back to the Future III soundtrack.

Brainwashed (2002)

It seems almost unfathomable, but this past week would’ve been George Harrison’s 78th birthday, almost 20 years after his body exited the material world. In honor of that melancholy milestone, Tony & T.J. do a deep dish into his last album of new material, 2002’s Brainwashed; much of which was recorded as George knew he was dying. It’s a poignant, beautiful record, which gets its proper due here, but of course doesn’t stop the Untitled Duo from their usual insane diversions; including, but not limited to:
The not-so Quiet Beatle taking on those perpetual #prannies, Oasis
Thinkin' about girls at church 
The Grammys' favorite band (and #prannies favorite band, too): Toto
And, a hot take on blues legend Robert Cray: COVID denier? (Disclaimer: he’s not. Unless he is. Oh shit is he?)

The Decca Auditions (1962)

This week, Tony and TJ hop in their time machine to revisit some of the earliest proto-Beatles (pre-Ringo!) recordings: The Decca Auditions. Never officially released—you can find them all on YouTube, or if you're lucky, a Japanese import CD—these tapes capture the band at their most raw. Things to look forward to:
The guys get... a little punchy
The Fab Three get a little nervous for the big audition
Poor Pete Best gets the Charlie Brown treatment (why's everybody always pickin' on him?)
Tony gets a lesson in British proper noun pronunciation
And TJ (spoiler alert?) finds a way to tie it all back to musical theater and 80s sitcoms.
